§ 3 Collection of personal data when visiting our website

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, California 94104, USA. For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission ensures compliance with European data protection standards.

§ 4 Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies, marketing cookies, or analytics cookies. No third-party tracking services (such as Google Analytics, Matomo, Facebook Pixel, etc.) are deployed. No personal data is processed for marketing or profiling purposes.

The hosting infrastructure (Netlify) may set strictly necessary technical session identifiers to ensure the technical functioning of the website. These do not store personally identifiable information and do not require consent under § 25 (2) TTDSG.

§ 5 Contact via email

When you contact us via the email addresses provided on this website, the data you transmit to us (your email address, possibly your name, and any content of your message) will be stored by us to answer your inquiry.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in answering your inquiry pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

§ 6 Embedded content from YouTube

This website embeds videos from YouTube (a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; parent company: Google LLC, USA).

We use YouTube in the extended data protection mode (youtube-nocookie.com domain). This means YouTube does not set cookies or transmit data until you actively click play on a video. Before you click play, no data is transferred to YouTube.

When you click to play a video, your browser establishes a direct connection to YouTube servers. The video provider is informed which of our pages you have visited. Your IP address is transmitted to YouTube. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your browsing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

For data transfers to the USA, Google has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing informative video content).

§ 7 Hosting

Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA). Netlify processes data on our behalf under a Data Processing Addendum (DPA). For data transfers to the USA, Netlify has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

§ 8 SSL Encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from http:// to https:// and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
